What We Do
What's Included in a Pump-Out
A proper pump-out is more than just emptying the tank — we inspect while we're there.
Full Tank Pump-Out
We completely empty liquid and solids from your tank. Partial pump-outs leave sludge behind and accelerate system failure. We do the job right.
Tank Condition Inspection
While the tank is accessible, we inspect the walls, baffles, inlet and outlet pipes, and lid condition. We let you know if anything needs attention.
Inlet & Outlet Baffle Check
Baffles direct flow and prevent solids from reaching the drain field. A cracked or missing baffle is one of the leading causes of drain field failure — and we catch it during pumping.
Service Documentation
We provide a written record of the pump-out date, tank size, and any observations — useful for maintenance records, home sales, and DOH compliance.
Commercial Pumping
Restaurants, hotels, commercial kitchens, and multi-unit properties often need more frequent service. We schedule recurring commercial pump-outs to keep operations running.
Emergency Pump-Out
Overflowing tanks or sewage backing up inside? Our emergency line is available around the clock. We respond fast to prevent property damage and health hazards.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How often do I need to pump my septic tank or cesspool?
For a typical 3–4 person household, every 3–5 years is standard. Larger families, garbage disposals, or smaller tanks may require every 2–3 years. Cesspools generally need more frequent service than conventional septic systems. We'll assess your setup and give you a personalized recommendation.
What's the difference between pumping a cesspool and a septic tank?
A cesspool is an unlined or lined pit that holds raw sewage and disperses it into the surrounding soil. A septic tank separates solids from liquids before treatment. Both need regular pumping to prevent overflow, but cesspools require more frequent service because there's no treatment step slowing accumulation.
What happens if I don't pump regularly?
Solids accumulate and eventually overflow into the drain field, clogging the soil and causing drain field failure. Drain field replacement is significantly more expensive than regular pumping. Neglecting the tank can turn a $400 pump-out into a $10,000+ drain field repair.
Can I be present during the pump-out?
Absolutely. We're happy to walk you through what we're doing and show you the tank condition during service. If we notice anything that needs repair or monitoring, we'll show you in person and explain your options.
Do you pump cesspools that are being transitioned to a septic system?
Yes. If you're transitioning from a cesspool to a compliant septic system (as required by Hawaii state mandate for many properties), we handle the pump-out, decommissioning, and new system installation. We'll guide you through the entire process.
