What We Do

Excavation Services We Provide

Every underground plumbing access job — performed with precision to minimize disruption.

Sewer Line Excavation

When trenchless repair isn't viable, we excavate to access and repair or replace damaged sewer line sections. We dig targeted cuts rather than full-length trenches whenever possible.

Water Line Excavation

Main water line leaks, breaks, and replacements require excavation to access the line. We locate the exact problem spot using pressure testing and leak detection before digging.

New Line Trenching

New gas lines, water supply lines, sewer connections, and irrigation lines all require trenching from the source to the point of use. We trench, install, and backfill in one coordinated operation.

Septic System Access

Septic tank lid location and access excavation for pump-outs, inspections, and system repairs. We locate buried tanks using probing and locate equipment before digging.

Utility Locating First

We call 811 and verify utility locations before any excavation begins. O'ahu has complex underground infrastructure — digging without locating is dangerous and illegal.

Site Restoration

After underground work is complete, we backfill, compact, and restore the excavated area as close to original condition as possible. Concrete and asphalt restoration can be coordinated.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you always have to excavate to fix a sewer problem?

Not always. For many sewer line problems, trenchless pipe repair methods — pipe lining or pipe bursting — fix the problem with minimal or no trenching. We always start with a camera inspection to determine whether trenchless is viable before recommending excavation.

How do you know exactly where to dig?

We use video camera inspection to identify the problem location, combined with a locator that marks the camera's position on the surface above. This gives us the exact location and depth before a shovel goes in the ground — minimizing the excavation footprint.

Who is responsible for restoring my yard or driveway after excavation?

We restore the excavated area by backfilling and compacting. For concrete or asphalt surfaces, we can coordinate a concrete contractor or paving contractor to complete the surface restoration — or you can arrange this independently. We'll be clear about what's included in our scope.

Do you call 811 before digging?

Always. Hawaii 811 (Call Before You Dig) is required by law before any excavation. We request utility locates for every job and respect the marking process. This protects you, us, and all the utility infrastructure on your property.

How deep do sewer lines typically run on O'ahu?

Residential sewer lines on O'ahu are typically 2–6 feet deep, though this varies by property age and topography. The camera locator tells us exactly how deep the problem is before we determine the best approach.
