What We Do
Water System Services We Provide
Every component between the city main and your fixtures — we install, repair, and maintain it all.
Shut-Off Valve Repair & Replacement
Corroded or stuck shut-off valves are extremely common in Hawaii's aging homes. A valve that won't close in an emergency is a serious problem. We replace corroded main shut-offs and fixture valves before they fail. See also: leak detection.
Pressure Regulator Replacement
High water pressure is one of the leading causes of pipe failure, running toilets, and appliance damage. If your pressure is over 80 PSI, a pressure reducing valve (PRV) protects your entire system.
Main Water Line Repair
A damaged or aging main water line from the street to your home can cause low pressure, leaks, and soil erosion. We repair and replace main lines with minimal excavation. Trenchless options available.
Supply Line Replacement
Braided steel or plastic supply lines under sinks and behind toilets have a limited lifespan. We replace aging supply lines before they burst and cause water damage — especially important in Hawaii's humidity.
Whole-House Plumbing Service
For homes with widespread supply issues, we assess the full system and recommend whether targeted repairs or a complete whole-house repipe is the right solution.
Backflow Prevention
We install and service backflow prevention devices to protect your drinking water from contamination and keep your property compliant with Honolulu BWS requirements.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my water pressure is too high?
Normal residential water pressure should be 40–80 PSI. Signs of high pressure include banging pipes (water hammer), appliances wearing out early, running toilets, and faucet aerators that need frequent cleaning. We can check your pressure during any service visit.
How long do supply lines under the sink last?
Braided stainless steel supply lines typically last 5–10 years. Plastic supply lines are shorter-lived and should be replaced proactively. In Hawaii's humidity, we recommend checking all supply lines when they're 7+ years old. A failed supply line under a sink can cause significant water damage in minutes.
What's the main shut-off valve and where is it?
The main shut-off valve controls all water entering your home. For most O'ahu homes, it's located near the water meter — often at the front of the property or at the side of the house. Knowing where it is before an emergency is essential. We recommend testing it annually to make sure it opens and closes freely.
Can you replace a main shut-off valve without a full shutdown?
In most cases, replacing the main shut-off requires a brief water shut-off at the street meter. We coordinate with the city if needed and restore your service as quickly as possible — typically within a few hours.
Do you service commercial water supply systems?
Yes. We handle water supply systems for commercial properties, multi-unit buildings, and HOAs on O'ahu — including main lines, distribution manifolds, pressure zones, and fixture supply throughout the building.
